    Charles Gates Dawes House Museum Evanston

    The Dawes House is operated by the Evanston Historical Society. Using the house, the society presents educative, interactive and entertaining exhibits about the history of the Evanston area. The lakeside house was constructed in 1894 and has 25 rooms. Exhibits include a restored nursery, parlor, dining room, office and kitchen.
